  • Cold War Memorial Members of the USS Daniel Boone SSBN 629 Association met this weekend at the Cold War Submarine Memorial at Patriots Point to approve the design and order a memorial bench for our boat. We'll finalize the location of the bench as we get closer to the reunion. Please visit our memorial project page (http://www.ssbn629.org/memorial) if you would like to donate to the memorial fund.

  • Boat Model Giveaway The association has commissioned a model of the USS Daniel Boone from Raven Arts (similar to the one shown here) to be displayed in the hospitality room during each day of the reunion and then given away to one lucky attendee on Saturday evening immediately following the dinner banquet.The model is 1/350th scale, is about 17-18" long (encased length), and includes a custom Red Oak case, finished in fine natural oils with a flame-polished clear protective cover and matching wood mounted brass nameplate.  The nameplate will be engraved with dolphins and logo, and will have space left open for further customization by the lucky recipient for engraving their name, rate, rank, dates of service, and/or ...
